Born and raised in Greeley, Stutzman’s passion for playing came early on and he walked onto the golf team at the University of Tulsa, earning his bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration before working as a professional at the Greeley Country Club. Following that, he went into the PGA apprentice program and spent time working for Troon Golf at the Golf Club at Vistoso in Tucson, Arizona, and as an assistant at the Ridge at Castle Pines North in Castle Rock, CO. Most recently he took on the role of manager/ superintendent of the Pheasant Run GC in Grant, NE.

Opening in 1971 as Bunker Hill Country Club, thousands have played and came back again for more of the best 9-hole course in Eastern Colorado. The Course at Petteys Park opened to the public in 2015 to much adulation. Golf experts agree that our course is one of the best public courses in the state, and provides an amazing experience.
